Oh god yes. It's a really bold move on Sierra/Monolith's part but goddamn its a good one.
great find man, thats awesome news. i've played the single player at a mates place and didnt think enough of it to buy it for the multiplayer. definatley worth the download though.
Where can I find the actual cd key on the site? there's a sign up to notify me when its out? Does that supply a cd key to my email address?
the article says august 17th so i'd expect more about it then
i wonder wat the motivation for this release is?.. good will???
Yeah, I'd be interested why they are doing this. Maybe to get as many people ooh-err-ing about the famous engine to generate hype for a sequel?
I played a fair bit of this game multiplayer on LAN and it was awesome fun. Very fast paced though, so it'll be interesting to see how well it can handle a spot of internet lag.
Melee attacks ftw.
Hope this one plays well.
Hanging for a decent FPS that isn't a camper piece of crap.
HL2 DM has become a joke with its latest changes.
Well, there's also the expansion pack coming soon as well.
Signed up, cant wait
hell yeah... I never quite got around to buying Fear for internet play
Man, that server is going to get absolutely hammered....I doubt downloads will go faster than 10k/sec
signed up...no key though?
wohoo! i bought fear never played it online as it said my dvd was pirated.
What day of the week is Thrusday?
its been plastered all over the sierra site as well, so i doubt phishing
Never made a spelling mistake before? it happens.
This is going to be radical. I hope lots of people hear about it.
Does that mean it's totally free, or only for people who already own FEAR?
Why would it be released for free for people who already have it?
