Been sitting on this for a week, finally decided to post it after someone else who I trust saw what I saw when taking the photo (and I thought was lost when viewed on the PC).

This is possibly a start for a series too, not sure yet.

    C+C welcome.

i like this. its has something to it. not quite sure what tho. It seems to have a meaning/story, something i don't find enough in photography.

    Love to see the series.

Very nice. Would that be the MX that mentions the Australian Idol contender Levi who fell in Brisbane a month or so ago?

Interesting photo, I like it. :)
My eyes keep getting drawn to the faces on the newspaper in the foreground.
I noticed the bird too and had to have a little laugh.
Also thought it interesting that theres the obvious newpaper reader in the foreground, and inline with it, theres another person doing the same. Couldn't help start looking for a third person in the distance ...
Would have looked great if there was a nice line-up of newspaper readers waiting for the train. If there is, I cant quite see the third at this pic size sorry.
Always enjoy seeing your work Azz. (and the others here who are able to do this type of street work!)

edit: Oh and how everyone seems to be looking away from the camera, except the readers. Like they are looking for a train, ironically when there is one directly in front of them :)

The only thing i'm not sure i'm liking is the hand/watch bottom right. I dunno if it's just from being too accustomed to model photography and everything in shots we see being perfect (including yes, a dudes hand), or what.

Great shot though, wanna see the series now mate!

Yeah there's sth about it, not sure what, it just looks good :)
I like the realistic processing (or lack thereof).

    I assume so, I didn't read that day's MX :p

Thanks! I was not going for a line of MX readers, just this guys hands and the paper. There is no 3rd reader either.

I know what you mean about the watch. Originally I cropped it out, and after a week decided to leave it. It's a little odd, but I feel it adds more than distracts.

As for him flipping me the bird, I didn't notice that...good eyes!

Processing was just WB and some vignetting, and a little dodging on his hand.
