so how does COD get away with polishing the same turd for so many years? haven't they used the same engine for ages? or do they get away with it coz of the different audience?

I dont think it's a game that needs to be AS heavily detailed. Your more focused on the action rather then the world around you. Plus it's not riddled with bugs.

When it's still making money why change? It's all about the MTX and the easy money they can make for little effort put in.

When people stop feeding them easy money, they might start caring again.

Once a turd always a turd.
This is not the game we wanted, this game was a pure profit maximization decision revolving around wallet emptying online services.
The idiots shouldn't have tried to mess with Fallout, and built another shooter that wouldn't suffer from all the downgrades, that said, this turd and BGS behaviour are so moronic atm that they seem obsessed with the quick dollar and might destroy their once mighty dynasty.

Considering what the company has done to us, maybe it should be considered a Triple F game ;)

Multiplayer twitch-shooter with continous killstreak "rewards" and loot drops != deep, immersive, story-based, world-building RPG.

I have nothing personal against people who like playing mp-FPS.
It's just not my thing, and I certainly don't want or need any of those mechanics in my supposedly immersive RPG experience, thank you very much. :/

I find the ~6month FarCry cycle more confusing than COD.

If the formula works then I guess keep pumping them out till it doesn't. The difference being that 76 doesn't work, on any level.

So there IS a human npc in the game - and his name is Wooby.

Of course if you manage to get in there, expect Bethesda to come knocking on your door with a heavy handed account ban. Players have been grabbing high end weapons there and even unreleased paint skins :D

so dont do this unless you want to write a trillion page essay on why cheating is bad and why developers are genius saints who can make no terrible design decisions.

Fallout 76 ways to F%#% Over your fans
    Fallout 76 patches required

I think it's about time consumer protection laws cover software/games too.
They got away with excuse millions of lines of codes are too complex to guarantee bug free (defect free) like physical goods but the fact publishers are releasing/selling games half ready is getting ridiculous given $$ they earn from it.
