Ferret ownership in NSW

    Do ferrets need a special license to own in NSW? I am somewhat interested and I would like to know more about the legal aspect of ferret ownership.

    If I could have rats without one, then pretty sure you can get a ferret :p
    I just did a quick google, and couldn't find anything. Furthermore, wouldn't it be on breeder/vendor to advertise a need for a permit if so?

    Mate of mine way back had a ferret, he loved it as it was this cute cuddly little affectionate thing that used to sit on his shoulder and watch tv with him.

    He also eventually got rid of it because of the biting and the smell. It also used to kind of attack his parents when they came over....so yeah, it had to go.
