What an imaginative title, at least it looks spectacular, now all they have to do is release it in a better state than XV.

The story and graphics look great but I already know I'm going to hate the battle system as it looks the same as the most recently Final Fantasy games.

Would much prefer a hi-res update of the original game, to be honest.

Or a direct sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics.

I played through this again a few weeks ago. Let me tell you the 3x game speed option (activated by clicking the thumbstick) really helped get through the dialogue that I've already been through a few times before :). Not to mention some of the grind.

JB Hifi had the 1st Class Edition up for pre-order but no one was able to order. People are blaming staff for snatching it up.I saw it but there was no pre-order button. When I saw the pre-order button, I couldn't go through check out. Page has been removed now. No other AU store is offering it at this stage it seems.

I've already got an absurd FFVII LE way back from the Advent Children DVD release so I'll be skipping this one. Looks nice though. Impressions coming through have been positive, the go to comparison is Resident Evil 2 doing something new in a familiar word. Nice.

To be fair, Sega Saturn and Dreamcast had amazing JRPGs too. I missed out on those!

I had a run of the E3 demo at PAX today. Nothing new to report but it was something to play it for myself. Roll on March.

Also managed to get a go at PAX on the weekend. I'm still a bit iffy on the FF15 active style combat (i miss the old turn based lol). But it was fun, had a good hit of nostalgia while still seeming updated. Graphics were amazing, hopefully it looks almost as good on the non pro's. Preordered it that night on Amazon with the $5 discount (along with Cyberpunk and TLoU2). Gonna be a busy Feb, Mar, Apr!
