I ordered the deluxe version from Amazon. Will take a bit longer to get here. Also ordered the CE Guide book too. Got a whole bunch of stuff to play with from the EB sale last week, so not too fussed about it haha.

Going to watch Kingsglaive tonight as I assume it will somewhat explain the story.

How do I pre-load - or is this only for digital copies?

Do I go buy it and enter a code? Do I just do it online?

Preload is digital only. You can buy digital codes from retail in AU for certain items but the selection is extremely limited. If directly via the store isn't an option you could purchase PSN credit at retail then use the funds to buy the game from PSN directly ;)

I'll go with the 7GB day 1 download I think (rather than the 50GB).

Preload... I had it downloading while I was at work. 10 hours and only 17GB done. I guess I'm not playing tonight, says its going to take 9 more hours. The whole thing should have taken 9 hours, FML.

That's my plan too, keen to get stuck into it straight away but most likely won't be able to devote much time till after New Years :upset:

But on more positive note I smashed Kingsglaive and the anime series last night so now have good understanding of what is going on.

I thought kingsglaive was an awesome movie. Am yet to watch the anime tho.

I noticed eb games have the game guide for $60 am tempted to grab it with the game. Im one of those weirdoes that doesnt like to miss anything in the game...

On a side note ive been jamming ff6 on android lately and its awesome. Ff7 & 9 next for me but im really disappointed theres no ff8 available as it is my favourite

I really enjoyed Kingsglaive too, the anime is pretty much just a induction and back story for the 4 main characters.

Just picked up FFXV Kings Tale Edition from EB Games for $69.00. Got them to price match JB HiFi.

The last 3rd of Kingsglaive actually contains spoilers for the game, several characters die but are alive in game, etc. FYI
