Isn't a 1/2 scale desert eagle pretty much a full scale normal handgun? ;)

it's smaller than a full size glock 19 with the DE at half-scale.

And probably bigger than a beretta Cheeta or colt 1908 pocket pistol

    i am fine with 1:3 scale for now. i have a 2nd 1:3 scale TTI Pit Viper, a 1:3 scale G17, a 1:3 scale black/brown TTI G34, and a 1:3 scale black/grey TTI G34.

The plan is I am going to swap the brown slide and magwell from the black/brown TTI G34 and stick them on the tan lower for as desert themed TTI G34 and the other G34 will be all black. will also have to check the back plate of the slide to see if it is black so i can colour coordinate completely.

the alloy empire ones are like top tier on aliexpress :D

the TTI G34 is easy to spot if it's an alloy empire one. if the extended buttplate on the mag is shiny metal then it's not alloy empire. the detailing on the alloy empire is much better.

the ones with the shiny metal mags aren't compatible nor can it hold the slide back on an empty mag....they can't even strip a round from the mag either. the slide detail is a bit softer like rounded edges. they're just ok.

Here's a photo of the alloy empire on the top and the knock off on the bottom.

Modelled, printed, and tested some mounts for my models that are compatible with the skadis pegboard from ikea.

Off to do my firearms safety course on Monday.

Is SSAA the best route for showing genuine reasons?

Also contacted the Lithgow Small Arms Factory Museum, and although they are closed, they are sending me a 1/6 sale SMLE and SLR :leet: (and a hat and stubby holder)

i would love to join you but i can't think of a legit reason other than just pure interest.

EDIT: Here's progress of my "Gun Wall Pegboard of Solidarity". I have the following models coming:
    • AK-47
    • SIG MCX Rattler
    • 2 x Beretta 92F
    • Kimber
I think there's enough space for more G17s in different colours though. I will most likely will need to buy a bigger board :D
