So I've got a bit of an odd problem and I'm wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing?

Basically all of my extensions are gone and if I try to add any new extensions I get the error 'Download failed. Please check your connection.' Which, as can be assumed is fine and time and date are correct.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Yep getting it myself. Current thinking on the Firefox subreddit is that the digital signatures on the add-ons just expired and not many add on developers have got theirs re-signed.
Some people are saying to check your system clock is correct but that only delays the problem until you hit the 'expiry time'.
Setting flags in about:config don't appear to work (for me at least and several others).

    EDIT: https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/new/

EDIT2: Over 7k people on that subreddit now looking for answers.

EDIT3: Mozilla appear to be on it: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1548973

Ah! Thank you my friend. Al least it's not just myself having issues. ;)

My browser also aborted all addons. I used the temporary fix to add them in manually. Hopefully they get this fixed soon.

Same but you will likely cop a message 'scam warning' but then if you literally type allow pasting it works as expected.

    Chilled did you have to do these steps?;
    about:config set
    xpinstall.signatures.required
    xpinstall.whitelist.required
    to false

I found they are irrelevant after doing the 'allow pasting'. I would not do them and leave them at TRUE unless you are having issues.

Yep did the allow pasting thing first......and no probs, all good now until the fix it

I had to go into about:addons, hit F12 for the Dev Tools though......the other way using Ctrl+Shift+J brought up the console window but no command line interpreter.

Sorry, missed your reply. I just did

    about:config
    F12
then pasted the code in console

Yeah, I'll check tomorrow morning, but I'm happy to run this every 24 hours until it's fixed.

Apparently a certificate has expired, if you turn back your clock a couple of days it would work lol.

Yeah I saw that and thought errr no, not doing that. Can screw all sorts of things up. But besides that shouldn't have to do any of that crap anyways.

Looks like they fixed the problem. All installed Add-ons back up and running on all three computers here. Without any mods or hacks to get them working.

Was there anything else you needed to do? I've updated to the latest version and they are still down for me.

It looked like it was automated. Close and reopen FF a couple of times.
