    Hi OCAU,

My son Harry was born on 20th April weighing 6lb 12oz. I managed to nip out for my first landscape shoot since his birth this afternoon. I just headed nearby home out to Samford and captured this.

It has been tough adjusting to an unsettled baby who wouldn't feed but now things are looking up and I am enjoying every moment I have with him!

    Thanks for looking,

    Martin

Congratulations on the birth of your son! The first few months can be difficult, when you do get away it's very special though certainly no time to waste.

    Awesome photo mate.

I like the inclusion of the fence post in the foreground.

Foreground lillie pads look better than the lillie pads on the other side of the stream.

Nice reflection, not sure if more colour in the sky might have come out 5 minutes earlier?

Enjoy the 'difficult" moments, you'll remember them just as fondly as the good moments ....... in 20 years time!

Thanks. Yeah a bit more colour actually came after this but I was trialling a new composition. All the clouds moved left of screen when they were nice and pink but it was a bit ugly shooting that way.

    Hahah thanks!
