I'll try for-to-nite LOL
lol - maybe not... playing This War of Mine atm... free to play on steam for the next few days. It actually kinda awesome
Legitimately don't understand how this game is popular other than it being free to play with a heap of children creating accounts. It's horribly balanced, designed from the ground up to be retard friendly (ie. awful weapon spreads, locked 3pp), and ultimately unrewarding even if you are decent at it.
New update has hit the servers... https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/news/v3-4-content-update
Of note is the new vending machines...
... and the new 'First Shot Accuracy' model for a large number of weapons.
cool, will have to download this before i hop on for duos or squads
Yeah there is a server shutdown for tonight... starts at 6pm Brisbane time as far as I can tell.
Compared to what?
How is it horribly balanced?
just as I get home too
Bah... the new shooting model have farked my aim...
there's a patch?
OK, there isn't....good.
Nah... its part of the content update from last night. No dl's from what I can tell. But sometimes I idle in the launcher while doing other stuff... so maybe a dl snuck in.
will have to do a few runs soon. I want that chicken dinner!
I dunno shroud/ninja seem to always win, seems is quite a large skill set required to consistently win, less RNG then PUBG. Can track stats if that what you mean by rewarding, what does PUBG give that FN doesnt in terms of rewards?
There's a high skill ceiling but the floor is what I'm talking about - it's high as well, hence the popularity with children I guess.
There's definitely not less RNG than PUBG - first shot accuracy change alleviates some of it, but the games heavily dependent on early boosts and weapon loadouts.
Rewarding in the feeling/sense of accomplishment for a win - which IMO Fortnite does not offer. It's "just another win" - even in my first win in Fortnite all I could think was "this is fucking stupid" - yet with hundreds of wins in PUBG I still get that positive feeling with pretty much all of them.
I don't mind not winning, I just do it for the challenges...and I want that John wick skin.
I feel the exact opposite way about the two games.
Amazing how opinions work, isn't it?
I also enjoy the challenges, keeps things very fresh.
I'm nearly at the Wick skin, that dude has huge hands rofl.
You good at either of them?
finally teamed up with RnR and managed to get a squad win
Hehehe - don't underestimated the power of an 11 year old with an rpg
