And u listen?
If it was upto the wife we wouldnt have these toys to play with ...
Cant remember now last time i picked up the blow torch, but it felt really good to do it again, especially first build back being a cascade.
Heres a start to my final cascade...
Ooooh, that's mine!
Looking forward to this very much.
hopefully santa can deliver
unit together, just have to finish some insulation and final wiring and i can start to load test this babie
Oooooooo that's nice I love my single stage you made but that I would give a left lit for
Good to see you back kayl. What gas are you using in your systems now.
This may not be the place to ask but do you do re-gassing of cooling systems, kayl?
I have a Hailea HC1000 that could do with a re-gas with something a bit more performance suited... currently it's using R134a which I've read is good for the environment but not so good for performance
thanxs mate, same as before. r404a in first stage and 1150 in the second stage
sure mate ill send you a pm
Bump for revhead (and coz its a cool thread)
Thanks Ando, and kayl has an email from me with lots of questions ....
haha love it. Should have more updates in 2 weeks. Did some more work on the unit over the weekend. Also new mounts plates are finished 1156, 1155 and all the old ones of course
Great work you got in this thread!
What kind of temps do you get now on modern CPUs?
Will you ever revisit the triple head design? This was quite interesting!
thanxs IMtech, golftown was around -103c load and -106c idle high volts. Unit takes 5 mins to pull down to those temps
The triple head was too hard to balance and get temps all the same under high load. Specially the Gpu units with ln2 volts.
Ended up turning that cascade into a single head unit and someone local here in perth owns it.
Did some more work on the cascade over the weekend, -108c idle and -103c load after a few tunning mods. Unit hit -117c after 10 mins no load, sure if i left it longer would hit -120c. When im back ill put the hood on the unit and finish the wiring and post some more pics
FANTASTIC!!! Strong unit!
Do you mind me asking a question about or two about my SS in here or would you rather a PM?
thanxs, best to send me a pm
Subbing, cause I've always wanted one of these
I like dreaming.....
Good luck shipping it to NZ
The reason for the dreaming part...
Just chuck it in a Kayak and row it there yourself.
