Wow this is beautiful. Have have have to get my hands on one.

Edit: Blimey, it looks brilliant! Price tag will probably be X1-league though :( It'll be a hit in Japan.

Edit2: Oh my god lust lust lust lust.

This is pretty exciting, the tip tier Fuji p&s cams were actually pretty decent.

Can't see how they'd justify x1 money for it though.

    Definitely watching this space.

A little dissapointing but I guess I can cope with it. I've been spoilt by the 7d's 100% coverage.

Guesses on whether it's software or optical?

Would be optical, like the G-series Canons' little ND filter that pops in front of the sensor.

Sweet looking camera...gotta love the retro look on modern bodies.

And yeah....all enthusiast level DSLR's have 100% coverage these days. Would be hard to give that up.

    bazz.

    hmm few pointers:
    its contrast AF? (slow?)
    5fps? FAST!
hope that EVF is good, its 1.4MP :D

Contrast AF is pretty good nowadays, obviously wouldn't be any good for sports or motion but for static/street/architecture it should be fine.

5FPS is surprising, must mean the buffer/processor is pretty fast.

The EVF, on specs alone, should be as good as the EVF in the GH1.

I can wait...because I need to save up the money for what it'll eventually cost in any case.

Yeah it's pretty nifty, useful for bright days and smaller apertures - which is important on a compact lens, where best performance is often found wide open (and certainly not at minimum aperture).
