Any recommendations on maybe an indie FPS that's got great LAN support?

Getting a bit sick of quake live and Payday 1 / 2, some of the guys don't have a PC that will run AAA titles like BF4 etc.

    Cheers!

Borderlands series is pretty fun. I think first game support LAN play.

Edit: Actually i think the max player is 4 co-op for borderlands.

    Bulletstorm?

Also Blur is really good, it's a shooter/racer.

Serious Sam 1, 2 or 3. 3 has split screen as well which can be handy.

Killing floor is good fun, not sure on lan support though.

Left 4 dead is great if you only have 4 people. Serious sam isn't bad but can get monotonous.

Also check out Payday Heist

battlefield 1942 still a mad fun game when you have the people. and free these days to obtain from orion?

quake 3 arena is good too,, best with these is they don't need heaps fast hardware,, even a basic laptop will play them.

Best co-op game? SWAT 4! It was released almost 10 years ago, but it's still great, and if you run it at 4K resolution (which I do using Nvidia DSR), it doesn't look that bad.
