That just about sums it up. I have heaps of pictures of the inside but didnt feel the need to post them.
I broke the clip which holds the ribbon for the LCD display so im buying a borked keyboard for parts.
Couldnt find any other modded G15 pictures apart from just changing the color of the Numlock/M1,2,3 keys.

the LED's were about 2-3bucks each, theres 11 lighting up the keys 3 for the numlock lights and 4 for the M1/2/3 lights so it adds up. took me about 3-4hrs soldering it all up, coulda taken heaps less if i had a vice of some sort.

That's absolutely gorgeous! :D You've inspired me to do the same, What spec r the LEDs you used? (intenstity, current, voltage size etc)

Should match your case very well!

For once Frankston Jaycar know something, I just went in there and asked what kind of LED's i would need for this. Its just a standard LED i think, theres resistors before every LED point.

Well i doubt the guys at my local JayCar will have a clue, but knowing you got them from jaycar kinda helps but still..

Any idea at all what spec they are ?

perhaps you know the cat. number, Sorry, i'm abit of a noob when it comes to this kinda thing and don't wanna hurt my computer/keyboard/leds

That looks ridiculous, not to mention it still isn't even wireless. I think that LCD has become useless, once again they claim it will show vital game stats but it never has and nobody ever will bother. The most useful thing i've made for mine is temp/performance monitoring.. Right now i don't have the software installed at all - the basic media buttons still work so thats cool (volume, skip, play, pause)

I tend to agree, but noobs aren't gonna know this and by the keyboard expecting such apps pre-install - or to install upon installation of said game.

I'll admit i use it in BF2. and the time is a handy feature :)
