Wacky wheels! There was a very similar game that appeared at the same time and can't remember the name.

Edit: Skunny Kart. Mentioned here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wacky_Wheels ...someone else can have my go.

Awesome :) Still a few brain cells in there somewhere :D

Here's an easy one. Another C64 classic that I spent way too much of my youth playing:

That looks like F-19 Stealth Fighter. I would have thought that was a PC screen though...

Oh wow, every Microprose sim I ever played on PC just came rushing back. I think F15 II was the first one I played.

Time to fire up DOSbox, pretty sure I've still got F15 III and Falcon 4.0 around somewhere. Thanks for the memories. :D

Yep, I couldn't find a C64 screenie (obviously didn't look very hard). I only played it on the C64 - spent so long waiting for the cassette to load :D

Damn, thats what I was thinking of.

Used to love the microprose games, spent much of my childhood playing them.

Flamin Joe, first thing that came to my mind was 'Ace', but dont think it is.

Nice guess but no. :) It's around that era though.

Don't want to give too much away but it wasn't on many platforms.
