note: I blatently stole the idea from the Whirlpool forums.

What confessions do you have to make about your gaming habits? Any games you hate that everybody loves? Spent money on games when you should have been buying food for your family?

I destroyed my original Gameboy (the big grey ones with the black+white screen) in a fit of rage after not being able to complete one of the levels in the Battletoads game. Goddamn that game was difficult and its infuriating because to this day I have never been able to figure out the gimmick to beating the level.

I once got so angry at V8 Supercars 2, I went outside and smashed the controller into 1.4million bits.

The game was uninstalled and never played again.

Modern Gaming: Sometimes when i see mecka in a game on BF2 i join under another account and hunt him down as a sniper on the opposing team.

Most times i get pwned from 10 miles away by mecka's pure arsey skill but sometimes i get lucky and kill him once or twice in an hour.

I really do need some help.

Retro gaming: I used to have a commodore 64 with a tape drive. Also had Summer Games on tape and my favourite was the BMX event which was at the end of the second tape.. used to take 2 hours to bloody load. Once after i had waited for it to load i started playing.. and knocked the power cable out. Screen went black.. tape deck went out the window and into the pool.

I had problems back then too.. i really needed some help.

Back when I was a kid I smashed my dad's Amstrad 6128 cause I couldn't get past a level in Boulderdash after 20 billion attempts. He made me mow the lawn for a year every weekend as punishment.

Last night I saw a video on the news taken from the side of a helicopter, of people on Telstra Dome's surface.
I wanted to gun them down with a chain gun.

    Perhaps I shouldn't have bought BF2.

I've owned about fifteen Nintendo 64 consoles because I keep buying/selling due to recurring nostalgia. I don't think I'm as fanatic as the N64 kid though ...

Sorta gaming related. I took my pc over to my mates house and set it up, but couldn't for the life of me get my headphones to work. I fiddled with drivers, unistalled stuff, trawled through settings couldn't work out why i couldn't hear anything through my headphones. In a fit of rage, and ripped the headphone cord apart and smashed/snapped the headphones. When I went to unplug the stray headphone cable from the back of the pc, I found it was plugged into the microphone jack. God I felt like an idiot.

I did a similar thing at the Perth royal show last year.

Was walking past the lighting towers with my sister, stopped, looked up and said a little louder than i should have that "Geez that would be an awesome sniper spot, look at all the people you could pick off".

The people around me gave me the strangest looks. :(

In my high school days I got real cranky at some game (cant even remember what now :D) and hit the keyboard real hard.... may not sound like much but back then they were worth a lot more... so I punished myself by spending an afternoon soldiering it back together :weirdo:

hmm... my game confession comes when i was playing far cry... this sniper on the other side of the lake kept shootin and killin (as it was on realistic) me everytime i would approach... this happened for about a week and a half in which i grew more frustrated... but i kept tellin myself that i would get him and that he would pay... when i finally reached him i shot at him and even though he was dead i kept shooting till the 300 bullets of my M16( im pretty sure its an M16) and while shootin i was goin off at him tellin him off for all the times he shot me...

and yeah... thats enough embarresment for today
