The world is surprisingly much larger then I thought it was gonna be. Easily the most beautiful open world game I’ve played the Japanese scenery is just gorjus.

Combat is very satisfying and story so far is pretty damn good.

Overall I’m very impressed with what Suckerpunch have created as it’s very different to there previous work.

Not really feeling this one, perhaps I'll feel better about it once I have more skills at my disposal.

This game looks very nice. Watched a few gameplays and I feel it's a bit repetitive. Otherwise, I'm sure those who have fascination with samurais will definitely be entertained with this one.

What RPGs don't have repetitive gameplay loops?

This game adds new abilities and complexities at a good rate, it keeps the combat fun and fresh. The combat system and complexity is also very satisfying.

This is on it's way to being GOTY for me..

Skyrim immediately comes to mind. There are a lot of "repetitive" games I play that I enjoy, it's not a bad thing. It's because I enjoy the game in their entirety. Even TLOU PII's combat is repetitive, but I love the things that make up the combat. From the environment and the gameplay mechanics

Looking forward to this game but having watched a couple of plays, I do have to say I wish they did more with the body sword cuts. Like you can cut off limbs and stuff, but the body hits seem to be lackluster, like you're hitting them with a bat.

I haven't once seen dismemberment at all in my Australian copy of the game, FYI...

and the kills are absolutely brutal if you're doing guard breaks and heavy attacks

Oh damn really? Hope the AU copy didn't get nerfed. Game plays I watched a few arms got the chop and there was some slaughter move that cut the heads off people.

Yeah I've been playing for 10ish hours and none of that has ever happened.

Not a huge deal to me, it's still brutal as fuck without the dismemberment.
