Why is there another thread about it?

    Fair enough
Waste of money even though you wasted an extra 500 on a i7 950 and a CM V10?

This board is built for a purpose.

    And that is benchmark/epeen.

And not to mention it only fits a handful of cases because of the size.

LOL - the day that I choose computer hardware because of a colour, I will wear pink shirts and leopard skinned undies :)

I know, people like to have nice "rigs" but to me its all numbers.. each to their own :p

As i said when this exact topic was debated in the other thread, once you load this rig up with 4 graphics cards + decent ram + the cpu cooling, you do not see the board at all.

When u pay top $$$ u want to be happy with it, and am not happy withthe color of the PCB.

It has turned me away from gigabyte for many yrs and am not the only 1.

Paying $600+ for a mb and not happy with it 100% doesnt right with me.

    HAHAHAHA

i dont care about colour so much, but have used highend ASUS mobos with all the black, in real life with 2oz of Cu it ends up a slight brown... eww.

i dont think GB will miss the very few people who worry about this, hell they prob dont want them.

Just benched one on LN2, not a bad board at all.

Had 4 x 5870's running with only one of the two 4 pin molex connected.

It clocks well too, had the 980x @ 6GHz.

It looks a bit better in person than in pics but still doesn't compare in the looks department to an R3E or classified IMO.

Ask my wife - usually arrogant, obnoxious, impulsive and rude.. Sometimes i am funny however! :)
