I've bought a new 24" I intend to run dualscreen but the bezel is glossy whilst my 22" is a Matte.

Is there anything I can do? =(

    Sandpaper :D

You could also spray it with a matte/satin black

Haha, doesn't sound like a bad idea! (Sandpapering)

I looked on Ebay for the Film and it's really expensive.. I could've bought a non glossy bezel'd monitor for the extra! I would like something cost effective..

    Thanks for the suggestion though.

Packaging tape? The type you use to wrap presents.

It'll turn out terrible unless you use a fine grit (600+) with a belt sander so all the sanding marks are going the same direction. If you must sand by hand, use 2000grit+ and wet sand. Even then under bright lights it'll have swirls in it.

That's because no one sells small amounts, only 6sqmt+. Maybe try finding a company that applies the film to windows and ask nicely for an offcut or raid their skip?

Before you destroy your monitor i would try and sell it and purchase a replacement in glossy :)

Well turns out the gloss isn't too bad! =) So I think i'll leave it.

I don't notice it while browsing or gaming so it's all good.

    Thanks guys.
