The Argentinian on Port Road is the must-go venue for any carnivore in Adelaide.

Enzo's is an Adelaide institution and serves up some of the best authentic Italian cuisine in Australia, let alone Adelaide.

I would add the Pink Pig to the list of places to go as well; it's been an Adelaide favourite since the 60's and they serve a magnificent Peppercorn Steak as well as Pork Medallions. Although they are probably better know for their 'marriage dish' - pork ribs and spiced chicken wings with an amazing home made sauce.

Regatta's on North Terrace and Red Ocre are also worth mentioning.

    Thanks guys,

Ended up choosing Celsius, as it just is too high on my to-do list.

    Valentines day :p

BTW: I wouldnt rank the Windy point restaurant all that highly. I havent been there for 10 years or so but last time I went it was average given the $$ spent

Chianti on Hutt st is pretty popular/nice and Ive eaten there a few times

    The Greek is quiet nice.

Nothing wrong with Chloe's -> just on a separate list as I have not been there yet:)

    Goodlife is entirely overrated.

Enoteca may be decent... sorta on the todo list.

Valentines day? -> No, thats a nice Sydney restaurant :) -> This is my bday.

Squeezer - give Windy Point Restaurant another try....

La Trottoria on King William St is good, Chiantis on Hutt St, Cork and Clever in Glenunga, Osteria Bar and Restaurant on Glen Osmond Road, The Lakes in West Lakes is pretty good.

Many I like are mentioned, La Trot, Alphutte, Lenzerheide...

Also like Cafe Amore, Sabatinis and Lido's in Glenelg.

Oh also, its by no means fancy but Cafe Aristos in Hawthorne is delicious! Its comparable to the Greek with its food but its cheaper and in some ways I think better too.

It is just a cafe setting though, not as nice decor as the greek.

For something a bit different, I really enjoyed the Lobethal Beer house. They have a heap of their own beers on tap, you can take home darwin stubbies of them, and I had a fantastic eye fillet with shitake mushroom ragout and blue vein cous cous when I was there.

Good for a drive up into the hills aswell

Sweet - I've been eyeing that place for a while, I'm glad to hear it's good. What are the prices like?
