So, I am looking to try at my hand at photography and I am wondering what's a good DSLR that's reasonably priced.

What type of photography are you looking to get into? Landscapes, street, portrait, etc.?

It really depends on your budget and also what you are trying to shoot but generally in terms of value you can't go wrong with Canon.

I'm a fully Sony convert but I don't think you can beat the value in the Canon 2nd hand lens market.

Depending on your budget, I'd get something like a 6D ($$, full frame, more for portrait/landscape) or 60D/70D ($, crop, if you want better AF/video).

There are then so many lenses you could choose from.

don't discount a good mirrorless setup either, portability goes a big way towards motivation to drag the camera to things
