Good cat name?

    It's a cat, not a dog. Just because it doesn't respond when you call its name doesn't mean it doesn't know it.

    They obviously gave her a name at the orphanage and she was very young. The name hadn't "stuck", it meant nothing to her. She knows her new name and she comes to it and responds to it.
    My other cat was twelve when I adopted her. She knew her name, I didn't change it.

    Montgomery is a bit long for his tag, could just put monty instead, I suppose.
    Supplanter, he doesn't have much meow going on, although that'll probably change when he's grown. I like normal people names as the real name, with whatever else as nicknames

    My neighbour called her female tabby cat Moggy, so maybe a variation thereof if it doesn't quit suit a male cat - Mog, Moggles, etc.

    I like normal people names for my pets. I used to have a hairdresser called Paul Mogg, maybe I could call him Paul? :D
