Optus changed over my normal sim to micro sim free of charge. Walked in with normal sim in GNex, put new microsim in N4, activated on the spot and walked out. Super easy. They just wanted a drivers license to confirm identity.

Was super easy with Telstra also. Walked in and explained I didnt have the phone yet, they gave me a microsim and just had to call to have it switched over. Was done in 5min.

A colleague got his today (16gb). Ordered Monday, lucky plick.

Had a little play and the thing is gorgeous. Android has gotten very smooth lately.

The phone itself felt nice and well made. Very solid and quite a comfortable size to hold in my hand.

Not going to userp my iPhone 5 but unless this rumoured >4" iPhone Math (fkn lol) eventuates I think I'm going to need a larger screen next phone.

Signal reception seems good as well. Damned nexus 4 had fast enough HSDPA on freaking Amaysim where my iPhone 5 on Telstra couldn't keep a connection.

Because a BluRay movie is 7gb in size.

A full blueray on a non 1080 screen is silly. If you want to watch BR quality stuff on the go, buy a tablet with a 1080 screen and an SD card slot.

Thought you were trolling with your first comment but it appears you're serious?
You really want to run a 7GB BluRay file on a 4.7inch screen?

Oh, so you mean a rip? You can get them much smaller then 7GB and I doubt you'd notice the quality difference on a screen this small.

A decent whack of a typical 7gb release is surround sound audio too. I have seen settings that output very crisp 720P movies with stereo sound.

    ~1gb and look amazing on a 720P screen :)

True 1080p BluRay are always around 7Gb in size. You are right, probably overkill for nexus 4.

I am extremely disappointed my Nexus 4 won't play back my 25GB Blu-ray rips. This 'smartphone' is just useless.

Might have an extra Diztronic TPU case coming.
I ordered 3, but then my dad decided he wanted a case that was a little more hardcore for the punishment he deals out to phones.

How much? Would be interested in hearing how they go when they arrived. I have been taking a look at them but worried about what sort of bulk they will add.

Ordered Tuesday the 5th Feb and while my credit card has been charged, I haven't received an email with notification of it being shipped, nor a tracking number.

    Is this the usual process?

Had a play with one of these yesterday after a mate bought one back from HK. A very nice phone, although I don't find a reason to upgrade to this over my GNex, which has been very snappy of late. Still, it would be a nice phone for the wife. Is anyone using their without a case? If so, is it prone to scratching easily?
