Anyone know if it is possible to use the volume buttons to take a photo? It's pretty tricky trying to take a self photo or on an angle at times (no, I'm not one of those types, I'm just always trying to get photos of my kid while holding him and it is difficult using the touch screen (especially when it changes orientation on you when you aren't looking)

I asked the same thing man, it's hard to press the blue button with one hand!

I think some different ROMs/Apps let you do it but I just want the stock camera to do it.

Do it now while you can!. Before you get too comfortable with your setup.

What the hell does this mean? I called fedex and told them I'm right here, no one has knocked on my door. The guy said he would call me back.. Yeah right.

I was getting crappy battery life for the first few days (~3-4% per hour drop on standby, probably 2 hours screen time). Made the move to Franco kernel and am happily running at ~0.5%/hr drop on idle and 5ish hours screen time.

that means it's friday and the courier is a lazy fuck who wants to go to the pub/beach. They drop cards in all the letterboxes on their run & piss off early.

    Had something similar.
Rang and complained. Kicked up a massive stink. They came back and delivered in the afternoon.

Got a link to info on this Franco kernel? I'd love better battery life but don't really want to go away from vanilla ROM at the moment.

For those with crappy battery life initially, it can take a few charges for the OS to "calibrate" the battery. I believe it learns the discharge characteristic of the battery and adjusts accordingly. First few charges on mine seemed quick to discharge but it's fine now. Easily get a full day on stock rom with moderate use.

I didn't kick up a massive stink, just an unpleasant smell. I called Fedex again after waiting an hour, told them that Monday was unacceptable and that there was no notice in my mail box. They called back twice 20 minutes later and told me the driver is coming back my place. When the driver arrived she told me she took the phone to the wrong address the first time. She said something about going next door. Yeah okay then..

My phone has been in my hands for a few hours now. Mmm new toy.

Alters the quick settings so that you can now long press some things to toggle.

Downloads now give a time to completion estimate.

Those are the only ones that are notable I think.

Plenty of videos now of the orb floating around, confirmed it is a micro USB plug, so could power off PC providing it was 1.8A...

Max you can buy from the play store is 5, i'm pretty keen and 5 should keep postage down? What forwarders do people recommend?
