    NOOOO!!!!!!
    MicroSIM?!?

    Damn it.
Mine will be here Monday, and I'll be in the same boat. Totally forgot to check sim card size.

    Oh well.

I went to Crazy johns last weekend and got them to give me a dual sim/microsim card, used it in my old phone until the N4 arrived, then when i got the N4, broke it down to the microsim and was ready to go :)

Did that on mine and the sim doesn't work for some reason. Not exactly sure why either. Maybe in the process I scratched the sim surface in an irrepairable way...

You have to be careful, print out the guide at the correct % and measure twice. The way I saw it, I could either cut my sim and:

    1)it works, hooray or

    2) I need a new sim, which I did anyway.

So I didn't see any huge danger in doing it. Though make sure if you have contacts on the sim copy them to the phone first.

I've done many sim to micro sim cuts and it's worked everytime, though sometimes if you cut it a bit short you have to try a few times before the contacts line up in the phone. I tried to cut a micro sim to a nano sim and that didn't work.

Haven't used it yet (don't have a microsim phone) but I picked up a microsim cutter from ebay for $4 a few months ago. It acts like a hole puncher for your standard sim.

Plenty of phone shops in shopping malls will have sim cutters too. I was just too impatient to wait 24 hours and decided to have at it with a hobby knife and a mate's micro-sim as a template.

Although I'm still amazed that TPG won't just sell you a micro-sim-in-normal-size from the get-go...

Just checked and mine is currently on a flight to Melbourne rather than Sydney, so, despite missing the cutoff, I could be better off...

I'm guessing you still don't have a hit on the fedex tracking either then? Makes me feel better that I'm not alone since everyone else, incl someone who bought at 11am, has gotten something to track already.
EDIT: my official order time is 11.20

I think I'm going to go with a dbrand skin for the back. Some reviews and pics here:

Covers the cool looking back but at least will stop scratches and is not too thick.
Then the LG bumper plus an SGP screen protector.

Ordered a black carbon one. Should look good with the bumper.

Also people, use coupon code 'XDA' for 10% off your order. Only 90c off each one, but still....

Those dbrand skins look boss. But I like the shiny look of the stock glass. Paid $10 for 2 sets of extreme guard full body

$10 for 2 sets? $10 would be the price for 2 screen guards only....
