I paid $230 each for two 32gb's at launch. But that was a 'mistake' by Optus :)

$689 for the 128gb seems like a good price at the moment, but I'd still wait. Who knows at what price point the new Nexus will launch at.

But this is coming from someone who bought a Galaxy Nexus for $398 just before the new nexus was released thinking it would be priced at ~$700 like the Galaxy Nexus was and then the Nexus 4 was launched at $399.....

Picked up a 5X for myself and the wife as upgrades to our N4. Managed to get a great deal from officeworks (they matched eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au).

Recently ordered some BlitzWolf microUSB cables from Banggood (still enroute), so need to get microUSB - USB C adapters - has anyone found a good source for those? Probably going to need 3 or 4.

Yeah I bought a iphone 7 using it.

As per my other post, I still think the note 7 is the best andriod device on the market. Now that the blowing up issues have been fixed.

Android 7.0 was installed yesterday. A few changes here and there, nothing too much. The battery life isn't any better, unfortunately.

Wondering if anyone in SA is having the same trouble. Since the blackout I have reasonable 4g reception on ALDI but the phone is not ringing, tries to start the call but time s out without ringing. I've rebooted, forced the app to stop but it is still not working.

I'd hazard a guess that it's not your phone...

Yeah, it's a bit windy now.
Cheers guys, found out it was the tower at work. Left work and I could ring out again once the towers had changed.

7.1.1 installed on my 6P this morning
    1.26GB
The black bar at the bottom of the home screen is now transparent, finallly!
Everything else feels exactly the same to be honest

Deployed to my phone via Software Update (Optus)

Call answer screen has changed to a swipe up action, rather than left (reject) or right (answer)

EDIT: I am in the BETA Program, not sure if that makes a difference to a major release but I get small 10 - 50MB updates every month or so.

Minimal, this time of night with 35% left (off charge now for 15hrs). I'd normally have similar or slightly less, depending on usage.

Across the board, unless my texting habits have massively changed I'm getting way worse battery on a 5x with 7.x vs 6.x
