How is the stability atm? Manage to use as a daily on current nightlies?

Also how is it compared to cm13 if you did run cm13 before?

Read this thread for more info on flashing etc.

    XDA CM14.1

last one I used was CM12

I like CM14.1 so far and it seems to be stable used as my daily and works with all my apps and no crashes etc.

I just installed cm-14.1-20161111-NIGHTLY-bullhead.zip and open_gapps-arm64-7.1-nano-20161111.zip on my Nexus 5x

and I had to disable wifi and phone data to install, otherwise it got stuck in a loop and you can setup these settings after you have booted

Got a 6P here and the USB-C connector is starting to play up. I've had the phone about 14 months now, I think.
Anyone else having the same problem?

Had mine ~13 months, no issues yet with the USB-C

Have only ever used the two included cables with mine.

Same here. I've always been quite careful with it as well, as a couple of phones ago (HTC Desire HD) it died because of the USB connector being used too many times. The next one (Galaxy S4) I fitted a wireless charging kit to it, so I almost never needed to plug it in.

My 6P charge cable is fine, still rapid charging like a champ.

I even have 2 eBay USB-C chargers which have been fine although they don't support rapid charge.

I found my USB-A to USB-C cable is wearing out a bit more than I'd like, and needs to be replaced. Disappointing as it seemed to be of a high quality, that or the USB-C port is buggered :)

I found a shop about 20 minutes down the road that will change the USB port tomorrow, for $85. Pretty good I thought. Good timing, as it was really difficult to get it charging this morning, there's less than a week's worth of it working I reckon.

Had to RMA my wifes N5X after I made her switch from iPhone to Android over a year ago.

The phone started freezing randomly and frequently.
It then would turn off reboot
Then it wouldn't show the boot animation and is now not responding to button presses at all, cannot get into the Bootloader / Fastboot :/

Hopefully her new one is fine.

Well the USB repair didn't happen and I had to spend a week out of town. I ran the phone on battery saver mode to reduce the number of times I had to plug in the charger, and so far I'm in day five without charging it. It won't make it to the end of today though. I'll try to get it to the shop tomorrow to get repaired.

My 6P got hit with the bootloop :thumbdn: Had it on my desk after work, went to grab it to go to the shops and boom, just sitting there not getting past the google logo.

I've ordered a new battery, hoping it's not a board issue like some of them seem to be.

Where did you buy it from? Should still be under warranty if local.

Might want to grab a new back and camera glass as well if changing the battery as I hear it's a huge pain to change without damaging the back.

If it's anything like the 5X battery it's glued to the back of the screen.

Out of warranty - originally bought it with a cracked screen which I replaced myself. Battery replacement is easy enough if you have the right tools

Hopefully it'll fix it - I have read that a new battery has solved the problem for other users. Otherwise it might be time to save my pennies for a G6
