Looks like they already snuck it up for preorder for Americans. Sold it all out and broke the site. Probably a good thing if they're doing a bit of a staggered release then.

Americans get 6 months free Google Music subscription.

I'm throwing money at the screen. Nothing happens.
    What am I doing wrong?

I'm glad I bought the 5 when it came out, $650 is just too much.
Disappointing as if it were $399 like the 5, I would of bought it.

Screen size is just retarded as well, there comes a point where bigger isn't better.

Meh. Google failed on this one.

I need to physically play with one before I pass judgement on the screen size.

Next phone contender for sure. If it was waterproof like the Xperia Z, total winrar.

Held an iphone 6 plus today. Can now almost certainly say that I won't go for a 6" screen. Too big for my needs atm

Apparently Nexus 6 is getting a fair bit of pre-order in the US.

As with screen size, I'm sure this has been discussed elsewhere. Just a few years go, 5" is too big. Nowadays, any flagship phone below that screen size is considered yesteryear's stuff. Many people simply do not know what is acceptable until they (or their friends) experience it first hand.

    Dunno about that.

I have tried a note 3 and I have downsized back to a smaller phone. For me personally its just too big and becomes annoying.

A 6" phone is just to big for me.

Nexus 6 is now on the Austalian play store

    32GB - $869
    64GB - $929

Why is the Nexus 9 with a much bigger screen and much bigger battery (the most expensive components to produce) approx half the price? Google really are taking the piss with the Nexus 6.

Edit: On release last year you could buy an N5, N7 and chromecast for that sort of money and have change!!

Quite expensive. Would have bought it if it was cheaper.

That's crazy, can't see them having stock issues this time round.

Bigger components, devices with more space have always costed less

Well they seem to constantly sell out in the states. Barely available for a few minutes without people snapping them up.

If it was maybe another $100-200 more then I would have considered one. But this puts it in iPhone and Galaxy Note 4 outright pricing...

I'd be curious to see how many local Telco's actually pick this product up.

That theory doesn't work. Nexus 7 32gb on release is less than half the nexus 6 on release.

And by that logic the N5 should be more expensive than the N6 as the N6 "has more space"

Wow... quite shocked at the pricing! It makes it on par with the Note 4 (probably even more expensive considering the street price of the 4 is dropping to the $850 mark).

Just pulled the trigger on a OPO

For the price and screen size its a nice option.

It a shame the price of the N6 is so much, it stops the N5 dropping in price, which i loved when the N4 dropped in price before the N5 launch.

I dunno, this makes no sense, whole point of nexus for me was cheap price with flagship specs.

Nexus5 was a winner in every respect for me, after going through almost every flagship released this year, I was looking forward to nexus6 and one plus one was just an intermediate solution.

Now me thinks to just stick with one plus one and wait for next nexus phone. I might end up putting lollipop on nexus5 and giving it a try.

Google, you failed me with nexus6 :(
