The horizontal lumpy bit on the back. Looks like it will prevent the phone from sitting flat.

Does really any phone sit flat on a table in the last 2 generations of flagship major phones?

Who cares if it sits flat? The only issue is if it rocks side to side or not. The bump is right across, so it won't rock, so no problem. 404 controversy not found.

Glad I got a 5 and didn't wait for the 6. I think it looks ugly, and old

I don't mind it, wonder if it will be that orange colour only?

looking forward to the new camera's in it, and hopefully better astro mode. will be interesting to see how whitechapel performs. given i live in an area with no 5G coverage and none likely with in the next 18 months, we shall see how it goes.

Biggest unknown will be the performance of the Whitechapel chip - will be interested to see, but I'd be wary of any 1st gen chip hardware...

I really dislike curved screens, love my pixel 4 but that would put me off buying the 6

Pixel density of the screen seems super low if those specs are correct.

And its official: Pixel 6 & 6 Pro

    https://store.google.com/magazine/google_pixel_6

As far as anyone can tell, this is Pixel gunning for top dog flagship award (but still without a mem card slot for its improved 4k video - so an OTG manager & thumbdrive will be a must) expect the price to reflect that. An interesting point is how long the support for the phone will be, as the current 3 year support has more to do with chip support from Qualcomm - but with them out of the picture, support will be determined by Google. Perhaps even an increase to match Apple's 5 to 6 years support - that is entirely possible.

Raw performance of the cores on this chip have it sitting below SD888 and Exynos 2100, but Google's tensor magic might have a few tricks up it's sleeve. I suspect it's not going to blow anyone away straight away, but will improve and optimise pretty quickly...

Yeah, I'm going to be keen to see what they can do with the tensor chip and computational photography. I'm still impressed with the quality from my 4a, and that's an old single lens hardware...

The only frustrating part for me is the curved display on the Pro model :thumbdn::thumbdn:

Agreed - curved screens look nice enough, as long as you never use them...
