    Gday All,

Since early to mid last week we've been getting google search results returning a blank page. it appears to be spread haphazardly around our network at work and at home and across many different browsers. Just wanted to get a feel if any of you guys are affected?

A temporary kludge appears to be go to google settings, search results and select never show instant results and click save.

Had it happen here, thought it must have been something to do with the environment here, as it was only happening to a subset of users. Sometimes clearing temporary internet files fixed it, but sometimes it didn't. I've not seen any reports this morning.

It's a P1, and they haven't posted an outage, The CEO of google should be fired

I've had the issue from a few users, even on my own workstation.

Clear temp internet files and a flush dns seems to fix it for a bit. Happens randomly though.

Good to know its happening to other people though, I'm not going crazy yet.

the one I fond seems to have fixed it for me, haven't had an issue all morning, gave it to a few users and they haven't complained since. might be worth a try for a few of your users.

I'm so glad I read the rant thread before this one :D

I had trouble with Google in the Steam Overlay browser over the weekend. Just assumed it was the browser not able to handle something Google had done. Not a big deal - alt-tab is just as easy as shift-tab.

We also had someone ask about the same issue this morning, only they were using IE11.

this is no doubt google changing the way their search works - and the fact they haven't written an "IE special" page for it.

I haven't seen it on Firefox or Chrome but i don't use Edge either.

had a few clients complain about it intermittently w/ IE9 and 11.

We have multiple customer all running IE11 with issues.

Pushed out Chrome and the issue went away.

I am .. SO .. glad it's not just me.

The same issue happened about 12 months ago and Google eventually fixed it up.

    MY SCENARIO:
Open a new tab, and try to Google search, and it just sits there. Then you try again and sometimes it works, else copy and paste search result into the search bar (rather than typing into Google search page) and it works.

Highly annoying and seeing it at home and at work.

Firefox / IE 11 both have seen the issue.

Is everyone else just getting the top bar - the search box, username, etc?

Home page works fine, but the results page is effed?

Edit: Obviously I mean those seeing the problem....
