Premiere Pro/ After Effects.
I just use Prem Pro, good luck to average hobbyists getting a good price unless they can manage a Student edition.
Awesome, got a Silver for Christmas.
I stand Corrected : Protune has a much higher bit rate so It might be choppier. I have yet to try capturing any footage with Protunes on. Thats a task for the next few days
Got a black, wandering through Sydney int airport (went to Fiji for xmas), wasn't expecting to see any, was wandering around the RipCurl store, and there were two sitting there (and a bunch of GP2's). $444. winrar
any more online retailers shipping cheap that anyone has found?
every store I call is saying mid january
Hrmm.. i'm still waiting for mine to rock up from the website order i put in (gopro.com).
They sent me a fedex tracking number, all it has said since the 18th December is "Shipping information sent to Fedex". No idea what that means.
So hard to find. Rang every camera store and jb then decided to give up (been checking for weeks)
Ended up walking into Mountain Designs for something else and spotted some on the shelf, so I was thinking they were silvers, but nope, remote in box so they were black Picked one up and they said there were still 4 more there, but will probably go quick.
Bugger, i was going to head in there on monday for a backpack... knew i shouldn't have ordered from the website. Ugh.
I just placed an order through amazon for the black @ $399
didn't say any shipping problems to aus :\
cheapest here. OFS atm.
anyone here have any of their footage up on OCAU or Youtube?
there are two threads here and here
I'm also interested to see some footage, also what accessories people have got or made?
Though I use the hdhero 1, my accessories are head strap, suction cup and am planning to get an LCD bacpac. Haven't needed anything else except perhaps the tripod mount.
I bought the HD1 Motorsports pack way back when, used some of the sticky mounts, and the suction mount is the one in use most of the time. The rollbar mount is safe in storage waiting for when I can make use of it.
Yet to take the 3 Black our on track, most it's done so far is a series of timed stills.
Hobby store just down the road from me has these in stock but at 500 though
Just asked in the gopro test thread in the gallery, but what format are we using? PAL or NTSC, given that NTSC has higher framerates and the resolutions are all the same I figured that but it would be nice to get word from someone in the know.
I thought all the new TV's didn't care what signal you sent them?
Finally did a review of the GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition and included much of my original test footage which includes sharks, fireworks and...Brisbane.
Great review, needs more Sharks, less Brisbane haha.
Mine finally turned up, was at my sisters place when i got back from site on wednesday. Mountain biking down at Margaret River on Monday, hopefully i can catch myself going arse-over-teapot at some point. I seem to have had a knack for having forgotten to turn my previous gopro on for a run that i've eventually binned the bike on.
Will have a couple mates with cameras strapped to them along with me... i will catch a crash of mine eventually damn it! Lawd knows i have enough of them!
