Unfortunately it looks like this site is closing down :( and I have only just discovered it now. Really would be cool to get all the Atomic MPC mags as well a a bunch of Amiga / PC from the 90-96 era. Any chance DonutKing you could pull them down for me?

Sadly very thin, and very destroyed. Pages basically welded together, and no amount of steaming or other tricks has been able to separate them.

I'm really pissed off, as I haven't found these anywhere online, and should have protected then better and/or scanned them sooner. That's a lesson learned the hard way, I guess. :(

So far I have all the Atomic, Hyper and PC Powerplay mags. Anything else?
The site is a bit of a pain to download from, they've tried to discourage bulk downloading. I tried to set up a scraper but so far haven't had any luck.

I collected the first 10 or so issues of the Nintendo Magazine in the early 90s. I wonder if they'll be worth anything one day.

That's good news. In light of that announcement I'd suggest anyone who wants the magazines should make the $20 donation and get an account themselves. It's pretty cheap for what you get really!
If/when the site closes I'll happily share what I've got but until then I'd rather support Kiwi's efforts.

just hopping in here, I’m in NSW for those may find postage to decryption Victoria in expensive. We both want to do the same thing, preserve as much as possible

I’ve been a long term scanner for old gamemags.com . Donutking made some generous mag donations that were scanned...mate can you believe that was 5 years ago?

Who can guess the name of this computer magazine editor from 1985?
I was looking through some of my old Computer magazines when I was surprised to see who was the editor of Today's Computers back in 1985.
His photo and signature are at the bottom right of the very poor photo

Didn't recognise him, but found the same magazine issue for sale on gumtree, and it had a photo of the index page which listed his name next to the article title. Man, he's lost a lot of hair.

He sure has lost some hair, but to be fair it has been 35 years.
I dont want to sell my mag but out of interest how much was the one on gumtree?

EDIT Ok I found it on gumtreee at $10
Not bad as the magazine only cost $2.80 back in 1985

I have the Atomic Volume 1 CD which is mags 1 - 25 ('01 - '03), I can't seem to put my hands on Vol 2 which was the next 25. They are in dejavu format and conversion to PDF results in a stupidly large file. Sadly I tossed a lot of old and tech car mags during one of the moves.
