I couldnt be stuffed reading all of the pages so some of this might have been said before.

I find the drifting in it (one of the most fun things in GT3) very hard compared to GT3, although i'm starting to get the hang of it with the D1 spec RX7. Its realistic, but not at the same time, it seems to be based more on momentum/braking which makes it more challenging, rather than just powering through like GT3. One thing i have noticed is you cannot do dohnuts at all, the car just goes round and round and the back end doesnt actually come out, this too me is bad physics, something which I didnt expect in GT4. (btw the car is completely setup correctly, with no traction control BS etc.) You can tell a lot of the tracks are just MADE for drifting (such as the Autumn one).

Apart from this though its a very nice game indeed, I'm around 33% complete so I have a lot to go.

Whats with no drag and drift events?!? I swear I heard sooo many stories that they were bring introduced to GT4 but I've seen nothing?!?

i would spend it on the saleen S7....
    very nice car to drive...
very neutral balance from the start,so tuning it will give it a very good performance increase without having to sacrifice speed or anything...

    GOD.... ;)

costs a bit too much for 430ish
that only leaves 70 grand left, he cant really modify much.
Thats why the Ford GT is a real bargain.
Even TVRs are relatively cheap. Most weigh 1000kg aswell.

Go for the Pro or don't buy a wheel at all. I bought the LDF first and brought it back for the Pro. It's so much tougher and more accurate. The peddals are better, the grip is better. There really is no comparison, the pro is worth the extra dollars.

Ick, I bought the GT and hated it. Maybe I'm not used to powerful MR cars... I love driving the NSX but that's obviously a lot less powerful.

Can someone tell me how to drive on dirt/gravel, every corner I take the car just slides straight into the outside barrier. Is it better to have the wheels spinning wildly or gripping?

Pissed me off to the point where I have given up the rallies.

your braking too late. Brake extremely early and use half throttle around the corners.
You also have to turn early.
