As if you won't be able to unlock that.

Yeh, probably not....GTA IV wasn't locked to begin with I dont think. I'm probably thinking of crappy Ubisoft PC ports.

Also taking into consideration Max Payne 3 easily hitting 60fps I can't see a 30fps lock on PC.

There's no technical reason to lock it

There's a technical reason for locking it in Dead Rising 3, it wasn't designed for anything over 30, which is why it's glitchy when you unlock it. It would make no sense for R* to need to do this when it's the same engine as before

though max payne 3 is a 3rd person shooter and not an open world game.

Do you guys think it will run better on a ps4/xbox one or my pc?

    my PC:
    i7 950
    6gb ram
a video card around the $200-250 mark. (my current video card is an old 5770 as I don't game much).

or should I just buy a ps4/xbox one since the next GTA will probably be slow to release the PC version

This has dodgy port written all over it. Will pick it up in the sales, I'm sure we'll be gouged though. Haven't had the urge to play it since finishing it nearly a year ago anyway but look forward to all the mods.

Interesting to see how well the 'next gen' version sells. Does it offer anything substantial over the old console version or is it just shinier?

Boy the screenshots look great.. But i am quite negative toward screenshots from any developer of any game because, well of course they've been touched up one way or another. Regardless in my view, this seem's as it will be yet another rubbish port (lets face it all console ports to PC are) i'll let people I know be the guinea pig first for this one then I'll decide if i'll purchase.

Come January next year....I bet you still buy it

Apart from the gfx overhaul...the biggest change is the increase of multiplayer from 16 to 30 players

    Maybe not ;)

They treat PC users like second tier and wonder why it gets pirated. I have a copy on PS3 - IMO I've already paid for it. I won't be buying the PC version.
