I went to local fruit and veg shop and they had whole pallets of plain, self raising and pizza flours, $17 for 12.5kg. I haven't been to ALDI or Colesworth in nearly 2 weeks to see if they have been restocking, from FB comments on local BSS they haven't been able to keep up.

Actually the same happened at my fruit and veg. A pallet of flour, a pallet of rice, a pallet of noodles, while Coles across the road has none.

Weird how some places just don't seem to be effected with some items by the panic.

Plenty of TP where I've been, and this is in the afternoon, they even had the Coles homebrand which was nice.

I get the feeling either some supermarkets are much more popular, or stock isn't spread evenly among stores.

Pretty funny. My parents used Coles online just before they cancelled all of the orders. They are seniors and mum complained to them. Low and behold she sent a photo this morning. Coles express posted 6 rolls of toilet paper and an apology letter to them this morning. Hilarious

And you can't get toilet paper. It's fine for regular consumption patterns but will run out if people hoard and panic buy.

Independent groceries, independent supermarkets, fruit markets etc are not getting hit as hard as woolies and coles. Our local asian grocer has plenty of stock of everything, tissues and toilet paper where a problem in the beginning but improved. Rice was never an issue there as well.

Just do shop where everyone else does lol :p

Why are you drumming up a panic here?

I have started to see some limited TP and pasta, but one thing I have failed spectacularly at is getting tissues!

My Aldi is the opposite a good stock of tissues but unless you want to line up and do the dunny roll sprint at 9:30am then its no bog roll for you.

Was heaps at Aldi here yesterday (queue incoming busload of people) but the week before it was still pretty bare. Rice is still out but I am going to an Asian grocer for that now. We have it in multiple meals a day and I am about to open my closed packet which means I need to get another one and it has been out for over a week now.

Noodles, all but those cup ones, are another thing that's always out at my Aldi. Haven't been too Coles in over a week so I'm not sure how their noodle supply is but the Fruit and Veg shop across the road has a pallet of Migoreng Noddles for the same price as Coles sells the 5pk for. I really should go back and get some of those.

Yeah for me it would require some travel though. They just aren't over this side of town for me. Even my local Aldi is out of bog rolls.
