May as well buy out Coles and Wooolies, wouldn't want Kmart, Big W and Target to feel alone in having SFA on the shelf.

Our Coles is getting another full refurb in the next three months. Carousels are out (apparently there has been a large number of injury claims against them), they are going to a two way spread stacking area similar to what Aldi have and the Mix clothing is completely going to make way for Best Buys.

The one I go to was a trial for that best buys. There is never anything really there that I need or want. Aldi are way better on that front. I see it as a wasted corner of the store. Hope you still have a staffed deli, the pre-packed one we have sucks hard. I go to Woolies instead.

We've had about 8 bins of Best Buy shit for about 3 months now (although not always with the Best Buy sign on it) and it appears they sell more of that crap than they do of the clothes. Either that or they don't fill the bins very full and they rotate the stock out of it regularly. So far Aldi definitely has a bigger range of crap but as to who is better at crap I'm not sure, I haven't bought anything from Coles.

I haven't heard about the deli changing, but I'll definitely be asking when I go in there next because if they change that I'll stop shopping there.

Yep, they boarded over the deli, it's still there if they revert, and put in fridges with pre-packed small goods. Zero deli staff, everything shipped in pre-packed. Been like that for a couple months at least now. If there's something I need, I go woollies deli instead as I don't need more stuff than I won't use. Seems wasteful. I haven't seen clothes at Coles since the 90's.

Thankfully no sign of that here yet. We've got several rows of pre-packaged goods but still a huge range of deli meats, chicken, fish, cheeses etc.

It will have to come down the coast and avoid Melbourne where all current hoarders are. Aust Paper in Vic has staff locked out due to union action so we might not even be able to get copy paper when the bog rolls run out!
