Ran a 48.112 this morning and managed to kick the power cord out of the wall on my way to grab the cam :upset: I'll have another shot tonight.

    Arggg.
I thought my time would be the end of that. I'll give it one more shot tonight and then the Zonda will be garaged (or modded up to go for the modified title).

    STOCK

    1,01.934 FaTs R34 GTR VSPEC N1 II

Stock, s3 tyres, No Driving Assists or TC.

I'm going to record the demo and upload it tomorrow at work if anyone wants it.

I'll let the time of 48.515 in the CSL stand. I'm after the stock FR/RR/MR record now :)

suprising how a 4 year old car weighing 200-300kg more can beat the newest evo and sti.

fats: Whats your speed when you cross the finish line like? I dont think I do that last gentle right corner fast enough, so maybe you've done it faster on that section

157km/h, I found the quickest way through (in the 34`) is to brake into the apex drive over most of the ripple strip and then just flatten it all of the way out.

Running sub 45 seconds in a few cars, on proper qualifying tyres of course. I have no idea why you guys are not using them. Not using the proper tyres is like having a sandwich making competition using mouldy bread.

Thats what the open div is for. I set that time in the CSL on quals. What non-race car are you running 45's in?

Sorry if my post was misleading,I'm not running sub45's in any non racecars. Closest yet is an rx7 doing 48.7.

mmm, I'm only doing 155 so some *very* small differences between us, we probably take the same lines and all.

I'll give 1'01 a crack tomorrow night and see if I can do any better

In my modified skyline I can cross the line at about 210/220. I leave the corner at about 170/180

it was actually built as a race car. However by the time they had finished designing/manufacturing it, the rules for the class it was designed to compete in had changed, and it no longer fitted into the class :(

It's a tuff one, It falls into the class of the R390 and GT-One road cars. There was a road car made, but only in prototype/one off form, it wasn't a production car as such.
