GTX1080 SLI issues

    How are you getting 10%-20% Gpu utilisation in BF1 with x2 1070? This benchmark shows good scaling in BF1 with x2 1080's.

    I meant to respond to this a few days ago, but i've got 2x Strix 1080Ti's. Running them both at 110% power limit, full load, my system draws ~700watts.

    These things have a power rating of 250W in FE. Strix has iirc 280 or something. The 1080 is only 180W in FE form...They use 1 8 pin, Ti's use at least an 8+6, or in the case of aftermarket ones they use 8+8.

    1000w is in no way needed for most cards these days in SLI :thumbup:

    Those Galax 1080 EX OC cards are great value, I just picked one up from MSY. Runs pretty cool and is quiet. :thumbup:

    yep, psu requirements are not what they used to be. i got an ax1200i in my system but with what i have in my system i could run it on a 650w.

    It runs fine on the 750w, maxed settings in all games and it pumps, PUBG still has its issues because its about as optimized as a coalfire power plant. Now just waiting for 6+8 cable combs to arrive so I can make it sexy again.
