    These would not look out of place on a guitar manufacturers website.. very professional. The entire focus is on the guitar - like most product shots. But perhaps some shots with the guitar in action or in a setting would be good too? :thumbup:

    do you just use a dead set black cloth behind the guitar?

    thanks the comments guys, yeah I want to do it with a different background or even with a model hehe but my mate wanted shots with a black background to be used for his shop...... Might try it from my other mate's RG

    well executed shots :thumbup:

    IMO, 5 and 6 were the least interesting.. something about the composition bugs me. or maybe the shape of the guitar..

    Those are some very clean guitars. While I love my guitars to bits, my main guitar (Jackson JS20 in red) has a little dust on the headstock and other bits, scratches on the body from use and wear on the fretboard. Not mistreated though, but loving use.

    That same kind of thing (body scratches and wear marks) is sometimes reproduced on a super limited signature edition guitar. Kirk Hammett had a limited edition version made (like 500 copies) where they actually copied scratches and wear.

    Sorry, kind of wondered off on a tangent there!
