Audio Technica ANC9, or ANC70 both offer high levels of ANC (the 9 being better) :)
Build and audio performance is also good.

I have to say, given the bad rep Bose gets for overrated/overrated garbage they sell, the Bose QC noise cancelling headphones are very hard to beat when it comes to 'noise cancelling'.

Yeah, but the difference between 95% and 97% noise cancellation really isn't much, plus you can get higher from passive, or a combination of active/passive and it's easy to get much better sounding headphones :)

True, but a lot of NC headphones in my experience have been a bit lackluster when it comes to 'Noise Cancelling' compared to the original Bose. But hey if people didn't mind me with my Stax earspeaker on my head leaking noise on public transports I would take it with me everyday throughout my daily commutes.

QC35 leak sound. So much so that people will be able to hear what you are listening even on a plane.

Do the ANC9 come with a hard carry case or something? Don't want them crushed with all my plane travel :D

Strange. The QC25s have no appreciable noise leak.

My QC20's have minimal leak, but because of the noise cancelling i dont need to have the volume loud to hear it clearly.

I haven't got anything on the cards at the moment - we're in the middle of closing our retail premises and moving warehouse so things are kind of chaotic here.
I do have ex-display stock on sale in store, but most of it us sub-$200 and most of the good stuff has already been snatched up :)

    Not exactly same, are they?

Again, they are different. From 20% and above in volume, I could hear while sitting next to the person using QC35.

Don't believe me? Put them on someone else and see for yourself.

Have watched a couple of movie with these now, over the last few days, and extremely happy with the quality and sound. Money well spent in the end

    I have closed cans - ATH-A900 Closed-back Dynamic Headphones.

They get hot and sweaty in Brisbane summers I am wondering would buds significantly reduce this micro environment around the ears and reduce the sweating?

If so can anyone recommend some good gaming (BF1 as an example) and music buds?

I know this may sound odd but apples wired earphones with mic are good, not sure if the mic would work with the audio jack on pcs though, but it is meant for phone calls at a good quality. Just don't get the crappy $1 knockoffs

    http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/apple-earpods-with-remote-and-mic-apmd827fea

Or you can find them cheaper on ebay (I think the $1 ones are fakes :leet: )

Maybe $25 for a pair would be okay.
