Depends on what you are doing with them for travelling and focusing in noisy environs they are solid gold, especially at their price point and being stocked by a variety of stores that generally offer large discounts.

For fidelity, there are far superior options around.

Will I always have a pair of Bose NC cans in my suite, exceedingly likely.

Please recommend a some comfortable headphones for a 7 year old girl

for general use, when doing homework and also when relaxing listening to stories at bed time.

I guess any simple headphone with a cord would do, I just can't let her try them on as they will be delivered by Santa in a few weeks

Got these for my 5yo and these for my 3yo for a recent overseas trip. Sounded pretty good to me and the girls loved them.

you mean the $25 headphones arent on par with your AKGs? shocker!

put your AKGs next to a pair of these and present them to a 7 year old and guess which one they'll pick... listening test not required

plus considering the fact that they're only plugging them into an ipad and listening to dodgy youtube audio anyway...

    never said any of that.

    Perhaps I should rephrase that...

They sound like $25 headphones should.

EDIT: Here's my son on his ipad

I know you said $200 or less - but if you can stretch that a little, aren't in a hurry, and don't need a built-in mic, MD have these up again at the moment: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/akg-k7xx-massdrop-first-edition-headphones

After some advice on which earphones would be good for metal music? I've been using the standard EarPods and honestly they don't sound too bad but I'm wondering whats out there that would be a significant upgrade. I guess one dilemma is that I'm using an iPhone 7 plus so I'll have to use an adaptor for most earphones. I have been eyeing the Audeze iSine series as they come with a lightning connector as standard but not too sure how they would perform. I'd appreciate any advice.

    Help me headphone experts

I have beyer dt440's from years ago for home use which I love and had some gr07 bass edition for out of the house/travelling

One of the drivers died in my gr07's so I looking for a replacement . I have a $200 voucher for jbhifi and saw they were price matching qc35 for 400 or maybe the qc20 in ears for less

Are they overpriced ? Is anc good for day to day use? I have tinnitus already so tend to listen to things on low volume so need them block out noise at the least

Otherwise any recommendations for canalphones ($200 max) ?
