My son has a set of Corsair HS50 (https://www.corsair.com/ca/en/Categ...tereo-Headsets/hs50-config-na/p/CA-9011170-NA) headphones that he uses for PS4 and PC gaming. He removed and lost the mic and is devastated not being able to talk to his mates while gaming. It seems this is very important for an 11 yo. I'm looking for a replacement but Corsair don't seem to sell them separately. Will any mic with a 3.5mm jack work such as this https://www.amazon.com/TNE-Replacement-Microphone-Nintendo-Headphones/dp/B07HJDX61Y ?

Just a double check before purchase

If the Corsair microphone jack is proprietary then no that replacement wouldn't work.

For PC gaming any mic will work plugged into the 3.5mm jack - you'll just have to assign the microphones input. For the PS4, won't work unfortunately.
