    I tried these http://mp4nation.net/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=62_51&products_id=402

Those were good but only survived about 12 months before one of the earphones stopped emitting sound. Tho for under $20 there were good value, still it would have been nice if they didn't die so quick. Also the cable was too short (since got an extension cable) and also if u knock the cable, it would transfer that up into the earphones. The isolation was good tho.

If I could get something for <$20 delivered like those but with a better lifespan and also doesn't transfer the "russtling" of the audio cable into the ear, that would be great.

The 'rustling' is microphonics, and is evident in most earphones/canalphones. You can reduce it significantly or even all of it by wearing it over the ear like this
