Yes - a foldable, not a flip!

We seem to get stinged when it comes to certain manufacturers and releases, with the most common folds being the Samsung Fold 6 and more recently the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. I've been rocking a Samsung Fold 4 for a few years, and when the inner screen went blank, Samsung offered to repair it! Whilst in the shop, I upgraded to the pixel however suffered a catastrophic inner screen fail (and I was and to successfully return it for a refund). Only after this event did I investigate and see this as an issue with the Pixel, but that it's not very structurally strong (thanks JerryRigEverything) - which surprised me, and also that the cost for repair was as much as a new phone!

I received the Fold 4 back and Samsung did the works (new screen, housing and battery - it's like a brand new phone). Despite this, I would love an upgrade, and the screen, longer battery, updated cameras and software on the Pixel reinforced this even more, however I just don't know what to get (or where to get it).

I don't think I want another Samsung Fold just yet and can't bring myself to buy the pixel again. Was thinking about an older Oppo Find N3 (but they're hard to get) or an Honour Magic V3, but have no experience with this brand. Anyone have any suggestions or where I could buy some of the exotic overseas devices from a reputable seller? My brain (though it should be my wallet) keeps telling me more than $2k for a phone is stupid - is there anything you can suggest that might be suitable, or do I just stick with the renewed Fold 4?
