I'm looking for some help from an experienced member who lives on the Sunshine Coast, who can come to my house and help me install CyanogenMod 12.1 on my phone

I have a Samsung Note 3 N9005 with lollipop 5.0 from Sammobile Firmware installed, which was flashed via odin

According to root checker basic the phone is rooted and knox has been tripped, so I'm not concerned about warranty

I have tried CyanogenMod Installer but my phone is not supported :(

What I have tried so far

I have downloaded CM12.1 and Gapps
Copied them across to my phones sdcard
    booted into recovery mode
wiped data / factory reset / cache partition
    apply update from external storage
and navigated to the CM12.1 file
then when I try to install the file I get the error failed to verify whole file signature
and the phone boots back into lollipop 5.0

I would be very grateful if anyone can help and I would be happy to reward you with a 6 pack of your favorite beer

    TIA

Sounds like a stock bootloader has been flashed onto it. You'll need a bootloader that supports unsigned ROMs like clockwork mod.

If you have effective root access you can probably get an app that will install that for you.

Once you have CWM on there it shouldnt really care what you try and flash.

Sorry I have no idea what your saying, can you explain it for me

    Using version 5.5.3.7 of clcokworkmod
    recovery > reboot into recovery

    Then did the following
wiped data / factory reset / cache partition
    apply update from external storage
and navigated to the CM12.1 file
then when I try to install the file I get the error failed to verify whole file signature
and the phone boots back into lollipop 5.0

Any idea what I'm doing wrong

The error you're getting is because the phone has the standard bootloader software installed on it. It will only flash official samsung ROMs. By the sounds of it someone had their fun with it (knox 0x1) but flashed it all back to stock.

So you need to flash a replacement bootloader like this:

    http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2494245

Which will in turn allow you to flash unsigned ROMs like Cyanogenmod from your SD card.

Has been a while since I played around with a Note 3 but im not sure if CWM is updated these days, so it might be based on an old kitkat bootloader and as such wont play nice with Lollipop based ROMs. TWRP has always been pretty reliable.

Glad you got it working

After installing TWRP and flashing to CM12.1 (Lollipop 5.1.1) I'm loving it and very happy to have done it :p

But I have another issue with my Note 3
    - I nolonger have Root access on my phone and TWRP is nologer installed
    - When I tried to reinstall TWRP it says the phone needs to be Rooted to install it
    - I still have the TWRP bootloader installed which can be accessed via UP Vol + Home + Power Buttons being pressed on startup

When I check for root with Root Checker Basic
    - It says Sorry! Root access is not properly installed on this device

Can I reroot the phone reinstall TWRP and keep the TWRP bootloader

    TIA ;)
