Shot for a friends amazing company Heywood 1922. They do great bow ties, hanks and ties. They have a great direction for the company and know the look they are after.

It was decided against going for pure product photography, rather we went for a 'look & feel' style shoot. This is something I feel better shooting and I think it comes across well for their style.

We wanted to warm the photos to go with the SS / 13 feel to the shoot, some of them are pushing a little warm but happy to get some feedback!

Here is a selection of images from the shoot:

Processing is on point. 1st image is a bit 'meh'. I think the awkward crops are probably a little too awkward and the model looks a bit wooden.

My pick is #5, unfortunately it makes a better watch ad.

Also, packet sugar, as if!!! :p

I quite like the set. Would perhaps like to see more environmental interaction to bolster the supplementary images. Say the cafe, the table, the coffee and him within the scene.

Processing looks good, dont mind it warm, if anything id push the tint maybe 3-5 to magenta.

Also, can you hook a brother up with a bowtie? Need some more variety for weddings

Love the PP on them, but would have liked it better if the model wasn't always obviously posing for the pictures if you were going for a look/feel thing? Like a more candid approach- but still, great photos!
