    Hi guys,

I have a Corsair Flash Voyager GTX, this beast of a drive which touts 450MB/sec reads and 350MB/sec writes.

I bought it for the sole purpose of transferring my video files and just so i can have large ultra portable storage.

My problem is, that the USB drive transfers from my SSD around 100-130MB/s max, however when i transfer from the drive back onto the computer, it will transfer at around 300MB/s.

Is this normal? I wanted the speed for transferring TO the drive, and not from it so much. IS this just product marketing in full effect?

    I've attached some screens
    First test
About 5Gb of random files, pictures, data, videos

From the USB to Nvme SSD(dekstop)

From NVme SSD(desktop) to USB -

    Second Test
    5GB movie
    From USB to Nvme SSD(desktop)

    From Nvme SSD(desktop) to USB

    3rd Test
    Large data file (outlook backup)

    From USB to Nvme SSD(desktop)

    From Nvme SSD(desktop) to USB

And finally i ran an ATTO benchmark

How full is the USB SSD and how hot does it get when writing data? Is it easy to remove from the caddy and test in the PC without the USB interface?

Got write caching on/off in hardware settings?
