The only thing I asked for from my partner is a vice, so I can do the block and hammer delid on my 3770K. 5Ghz 24/7 + summer doesn't love that old crusty TIM and gapped IHS. Hoping for a Christmas miracle.

    Home Media Room Build

I wouldn't mind starting on my home cinema build, but that's not too likely (the girl likes these things call holidays which spend both my time and money, critical things for a home cinema build ), so i'll settle on rebuilding my HTPC as its slowly dying a hard long death

working on my x99 box... or doing old machine 2700k to quad 9550 etc..

trying to get parts to upgrade my unemployed friends pc, dual core 8400 560ti msi 4g ram dd2 , 1tb samsung g hdd.

could give him the quad core but its still slow these days , limited to 8g ram, and sata 2 board.

he wants one of my sli 670 oc cards.. but his system is pcie v1.0 slot, and quad core 2 slow for card. also needs a better bigger psu watts too.

min for gaming quad chip intel and 660 card?? i can give a card, he need new board with pci v2.0 slot.

    ig got a ddr3 board , but with a celeron dual core(slow 1156) its a old board. with 4 g ram.

helping my mum go though a very hard time by herself, my dad died 4 months ago on the 25th. so xmas day is a reminder it be 4 months, she not doing well she needs help. not sure what to do. The first month for me I could not do anything, stayed in bed for most of it. I only started feeling a bit better and more positive 3 weeks ago, that's when i started my x99 box. ( old box had bad psu). could not play games in sli, 3.3 line went to 2.9volts.

Holidays now is going to be hard for her most, I think about my dad every day, many times a day. he dies 5 weeks in nursing home from organ failure (from smoking, lung des , forgotten whats it called, but you cant breath).

Happy holiday everyone. be well, stay safe, Remember love ones, and Think positive!!!

The Xmas present list includes Fallout 4, a Steel Series Rival Mouse and a Ducky One keyboard. Can post some picks after "Santa" has delivered them.

Also going to do a bit of coding on my 2D/3D gaming engine. Will post some screenshots of that as well.

Now if only I can get my son away from the PC :)

I'm going to finally finish my APM 2.6 autopilot based quad.
It might even fly if i'm lucky!
Hope to have it doing a full auto mission soon.

No real need or plan for this gear, just my geeky thing.

Purchasing a intel CPU that supports visualization pass through and rebuilding my server with VMware and visualizing everything, even freenas!

Some more ram would allow me to do a lot more with it ~! Though i can always use more SSDS!

Not for me, but bought my brother a Logitech G410 mechanical keyboard as it is perfect small size for his desk, he really needs a new keyboard and doesn't know these types of keyboards are available.

I will be attempting to start playing Elite Dangerous after many months thinking about it, having only ever played FPS and RTS this is going to be a bit of a learning curve! I will need that extra memory to make me better at the game :Pirate:

Upgrade my Fiancees laptop to an SSD and upgrade the RAM in hopes that she'll stop getting annoyed when her laptop bogs down with 70000 pinterest/tumblr tabs open in Chrome!

Hopefully parting out my current PC and building my wishlist for the new PC for the new year as well.

Aaand, buying everything online that I've been eyeing off that I've put off buying in hopes that I'll get it for Christmas!
