Went to Malaysia for 5 weeks, did some crazy things there, ate a ridiculous amount of food. Overall, photography wise it was not easy. But I'm pleased with some of the shots.

    Thanks

My wife has lots of family over there so for the first half of the trip we were being led around. Was good fun, they showed us all the best places to eat. (basically Penang).

Second half we went to the Borneo Side, which is where the last 9 shots were taken.

Great captures! Wish I had my underwater DSLR housing when I was in Sipadan. Would love to see more of your underwater shots. Any shots from the top of Mt.Kinabalu?

I just had the S90 for underwater, no flashes either.

I did get some shots on top of Mt Kinabalu, but nothing special. Sunrise was not very good. I took up a tripiod (carried it all myself) but it was not really worth it in the end.

This one was on the way down, not far from the peak.

Amazing shots - brings back a lot of great memories (went to a few of the same places, sipidan my fav).

Where did you take the night shot of the Petronis Twin Towers?

Was it worth going up to Mt Kinabalu?

Also I think you mean Kota Kinabalu, not Kuda. :p

But great looking shots, a lot better than anything I managed to get. Probably too busy being hot.

Did you get any from the Gaya Street Sunday Market in KK? Great place for photo ops there, just have a camera with weather seals for when you begin raining sweat.

Menara Tower is where I shot the Petronis Twin Towers.

The hike was ok, the view wasn't that special, but it was a good sense of achievement. The walk was nice...
