Their review copy didn't have day 1 patch. Pretty pointless video. Apparently he is an xbox fan boy and has done nothing but defend halo infinite even though it looks 2 gens old.

I would wait for actual analysis done on retail version.

Silly move by devs/pub not to get patch sorted for review copies though.

As is the norm these days, they've already announced there will be a day one patch.

Na need further patch, people have tested since day 1 patch and still stutters and some animations locked @ 30fps.

Its so nasty having 100+ fps and certain elements @ 30fps, very jarring.

played a few hours, 1440p with max settings and motion blur off 85-90fps. So far no stutter and no crashes, enjoying the game.

I'd be happy enough with that. Noticed any odd looking 30fps animations?

Some people are claiming better frame rates rolling back to 446.14

Hopefully nvidia does some optimisations and releases new driver.

Runnign well for me on a GTX1080 @ 1440p. Mix of med to ultra and sitting around the 60fps mark. No stutters or crashing and really enjoying it, very nice game.

One bug which is a bit offputting is how W on the kb is not straight ahead sometimes and instead she walks off to the side.

Just did benchmark on prefer quality preset at 1440 and got 112 fps avg and maxed got 107.

I did note the gpu averaged about 55% utilisation so Def room for game and driver improvements.

No stuttering or weirdness for me that I have noticed in about 90min play time. Thought it was weird it defaulted to borderless windowed mode and vsync on so fixed that. Set max fps to 120 and vsync off for adaptive refresh and left all other settings default.

    Ryzen 2700x and RTX2070.

Just played for 30 mins, a little less maybe average of 80fps but for a SP game thats fine. No constant stuttering just tiny bleeps between big areas.

Gripes so far is Aloy doesnt run perfectly straight as someone else mentioned and you cant adjust sensitivity between camera and aiming individually (at least I couldnt see) so when aiming felt right the camera was too quick.

Ill def wait a month or so and check it out after a patch or 2. Still got TLOU2 and RDR2 to finish.

i feel you, as keen as i am to play through this game again, i still have ghost of tsushima and death stranding to get through... so no rush, can wait for optimisation.

Ah yes I also wanna pick up GOT.

I think if my GPU was @ 90%+ usage I could get solid 144fps, hopefully it gets a bit better at least.

Benchmark at 1440p with Ultimate quality settings and motion blur off, 98 fps average using the benchmark.
Cutscenes feel a little off maybe its the 30fps.

just checked, not an issue for me.
